So, it's like this.
Because of the oil dump, the mech decided to replace the engine:
cylinder head, cylinder, piston and so on.
THEN he found something that *could* be the cause of the old misery!
In the silencer (muffler) he found something loose!!
This possibly intermittently blocked the gas flow, with the obvious results.
So I'm getting a new exhaust as well!!
All under guarantee!!!
So I have to run it in again, but it's new!!
All's well that ends well, I hope.
